In a heartwarming and creative fundraising initiative, Managing Director of Spectra Media, Sam Spridgeon, has been nominated to take part in the highly anticipated Jail & Bail event to raise funds for The Hospice of The Good Shepherd.
The Jail & Bail event is a unique and fun-filled charity challenge where participants are “locked up and put on trial” by the Hospice’s legal team and judge. The aim? To raise crucial funds for the Hospice’s life-saving services while having a day full of laughter and camaraderie.
What is Jail & Bail?
The Jail & Bail event is an opportunity for businesses to get involved in a fantastic cause. Employees or employers from all kinds of businesses are nominated by their colleagues to “stand trial” in the Hospice courtroom, where they’ll face the tough legal team and the ever-feared Hospice judge. But it’s not all serious – the primary goal is to raise money, with the “accused” participants encouraged to seek donations in the form of bail money to secure their release.
For Spectra Media’s Sam “Spridge” Spridgeon, this nomination means more than just a chance to “serve time” for his crimes against tupperware. It’s a way to give back to a charity that has made a tremendous impact on the lives of many people in Chester. In fact, the challenge includes a target of raising £500 in bail donations, which will directly support the Hospice’s ongoing mission to provide compassionate end-of-life care to those who need it most.
Why Support Hospice of The Good Shepherd?
Hospice of The Good Shepherd offers vital palliative care to individuals with life-limiting conditions, ensuring they live their final days with dignity, comfort and peace. The support provided to families and patients at the Hospice is unmatched, but like many charities, they rely heavily on fundraising to continue their work.
With the rising demand for palliative care, every penny counts. By participating in Jail & Bail, Sam is taking a stand to help the Hospice continue providing vital services and Spectra Media is proud to support this charitable endeavor.
How Can You Help?
As part of the event, £500 in bail money needs to be raised. But it’s not just about the donations – it’s about coming together as a community to make a difference. By donating, you’re helping to support patients and families who rely on the exceptional care provided by The Hospice of The Good Shepherd.

The Jail & Bail event is a wonderful opportunity to have a little fun while making a significant impact on the community. Spectra Media’s involvement is just one example of how businesses are coming together to support a cause that truly matters. Let’s raise those crucial funds and ensure that The Hospice of The Good Shepherd can continue to offer its invaluable services to those who need it most.
